Private training · by request

One coach. One player. One thing to fix.

One-on-one and small-group sessions at the facility, arranged through the club, for the player who needs her passing, her arm swing or her serve to hold up by the next tryout.

What a session can cover.

Private sessions are coached by SJVC instructors under Coach Andor’s systems, at 6940 US-1 North; Coach Andor himself does not take private lessons. Small groups of two or three friends work the same way.

Skill work, by the rep

Passing, serving, setting or hitting, one skill at a time, with the review screens replaying each rep a few seconds later so she sees what the coach sees.

VPT® and movement

Volleyball Pattern Training®: the squat she passes from and the throw she hits with, trained under load, for a player who needs to get stronger or move better without getting hurt.

The game between the ears

For the player who has the skills and loses them under pressure: breathing, focus and the tools behind It’s Bigger Than Volleyball®, in a quiet room, when the club has a coach for it.

Three steps.

  1. Ask

Call or text with your player's grade, what she wants to work on, and the days that suit you.

  2. Arrange

The club confirms the coach, the time and the place, and whether a small group makes more sense than one-on-one.

  3. Book through the club

Private sessions with SJVC coaches are arranged and paid for through SJVC, never with a coach directly. Every player needs the online waiver on file first.

Or write from the contact page. If a season on a club team is the better answer, Coach Andor will say so.
