U15-1 Academy · 2026-27 season

The U15-1 Academy.

One team for high school freshmen who want more: indoor and beach in one track, the whole school year, with the weight room built in. Coach Andor Gyulai, a two-time NCAA national champion at UCLA with 34 years of coaching, runs it himself.

This is not for everyone

Some athletes demand more.

Most athletes want a team that fits into their life. Some athletes want a life that fits into their training.

They don’t ask, “Did I have fun today?” They ask, “Did I get better today?” And they ask it every day, for years.

They don’t fear failure. They fear wasted potential. They don’t chase motivation. They chase mastery.

They don’t hope to win. They expect to win, because they’ve done the work that gives them the right to expect it.

The U15-1 Academy is built for them. It isn’t for the majority and it isn’t the mainstream. It is a small group of athletes who chose the hard road on purpose, and who expect more of themselves and of their coaches.

The Academy track.

One program for both college paths, indoor and beach, through the whole school year. Academy players also get coaching through their high school seasons at no extra cost.

Weight-room training built in

Every indoor block includes strength work in the club’s own room, on Volleyball Pattern Training®: the same movements she plays with, loaded.

Two players on the court means she touches the ball far more. Beach sharpens indoor and indoor sharpens beach, and the schedule moves around her high school indoor and beach seasons so her development never stops.

The standard · What Great Looks Like®

What the team holds itself to.

  • Repetition is religion.Thousands of quality contacts until the right movement is the only movement. That is VPT®.
  • Craft is sacred.Every footwork pattern, every arm swing, every platform angle matters.
  • Detail is non-negotiable.“Close enough” doesn’t exist in this gym.
  • Awareness is a weapon. She is trained to see the play before it happens. Read The Game, Slow The Game, Eliminate Pressure®.
  • Identity is chosen. You don’t play on the Academy team. You are the Academy team.
  • Pressure is a privilege.Every practice is built to be harder than the match.

High standards, delivered with respect and collaboration. We push hard, and we never tear an athlete down to do it. In Coach Andor’s words: “We only recognize excellence.”
